Dearest backers,
Our journey together has come to an end. The last few backorders are on the road as we speak.
It has been 7 hectic and life-changing months for us. We literally launched LABFRESH from our apartment. With 300 followers on Facebook and a video shot in our own kitchen.
Today we are proud to say that the support from you has enabled us to turn our dream into a real company. In our eyes we are the kind of entrepreneurs that INDIEGOGO was originally built for.
Last week we launched a casual shirt made of thick Oxford fabric. We have been working on it for 7 months and we are very proud. It's perfect for boating on a summer night. Check it out HERE.

Hi guys,
We are almost there!
Most packages have arrived, and the few backorders we had will be picked up from our warehouse within the hour. Be aware that delivery times outside of the EU can be up to 12 working days. So the wait is almost over :)
We will send you a feedback survey during July, so we can get as much feedback as possible. We are currently working on the next generation of LABFRESH shirts, which we hope to finish by the end of the year. We especially aim to take especially the non-iron and anti-odor properties to the next level. Make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

Dear backers,
We know that ironing sucks, and like you we prefer to do it as little as possible. To get the crispest look we recommend you iron the shirt after each wash, and then you can wear it several times without having to iron again (depends on the person for how long).
Ironing of our shirts should go quite easy, but it is maybe a little different than you are used to. The shirt dries really fast, so if you centrifuge the shirt (and maybe leave it in the washer for a bit) it will crease faster than a normal shirt, and it will be harder to flatten out.
You can do 2 things to make the ironing easier:
1. Don't spin (centrifuge) at all or very little and hang the shirt on a hanger while it is still wet. It also helps to pull the shirt a bit when you hang it, so the wrinkles are straightened out before the shirt dries up.
2. Spray plenty of water on the shirt while ironing (instead of only using steam). Since the fabric repels water you have to use more than usual. This will make the shirt much easier to iron than a normal shirt.
During the campaign we tried to make it clear that we are against the typical resin-based formaldehyde coatings that are used in 99% of the non-iron shirts in the market. Our shirts have a so-called “Durable Press Rating” of 3.5, which is categorized as easy-care and easy-iron. Full non-iron properties are at 4.5.
We prefer our shirts to look and feel as natural and pure as possible. Therefore we treat them on a molecular level instead of using chemical surface coatings.We are working hard to increase the “durable press rating”, so we can reach close to full non-iron quality. But that is very hard to do without resin-based coatings.

We are near the end :)
It has been a great (and tough) experience to be detail-oriented perfectionists while still trying to stick to the deadlines. Being 1000% funded is an amazing feeling, but it's also a big challenge.
The blue shirts have been the toughest. Each shirt batch goes through vendors in 4 countries. Missing a delivery window in Asia or France means loosing our spot in the production line in Romania. Since it is our first collection we have also insisted on sampling and prototyping for each batch, so that we don't end up with 1,000 shirts with a wrong cut.
The final batch of blue shirts are finished on Tuesday June 20. Then they will be transported by truck to The Netherlands as fast as humanly possible. Hereafter Ramon will pick and pack in the warehouse, and our shipping partner will deliver to the local carriers in the 65 countries we ship to. We bundled the shipments for each continent, which means shipping time is longer than what you are used to from normal website orders.
Track & trace numbers are unfortunately not distributed automatically for all countries, so in case you did not receive your products by June 30 please send us an email on [email protected] and we will investigate and share track&trace info.
We are very proud of the end product we have now. We have shipped to more than 1,000 customers and the remaining backers will be served within the next 2-3 weeks. We cannot wait to get your feedback, so we can keep improving and developing new products.

Dear backers,
By tomorrow afternoon we will have shipped all the regular fits. It took a bit longer due to sickness in the warehouse - our sincere apologies for that. This means we are only waiting for the blue shirts to arrive. So far the production has been smooth, but there might be a hiccup at the end because it's the first time we make more than a few meters of the stuff.
We look forward to having shipped everything, so we can start turning this great crowdfunding experience into a real little company that we can grow and nurse for the many years. Hopefully with most of you guys as happy customers :)
